April 2: Resolutions That Never Stood A Chance

I've never been one for new year's resolutions.  Resolutions seem like the ultimate American cliche--does any other culture pretend to set some resolve for change every January 1?

Anyway, this list didn't speak to me all that much--at first. I took a minute to think more about it and make this into something that is more meaningful for me.  Anyway, while these might not be January 1 resolutions, they are ongoing resolutions that rarely seem to stand a chance with me.

April: A Month of Lists!

Well, hello there!  Welcome to Kristine's $2.11!

I want to start Kristine's $2.11 off with a bang--and that bang is...30 Days of Lists!  30 Days of Lists is a super-fetch idea (omg...stop trying to make fetch happen!) from Amy and Kam of 30daysoflists.com/.  Each day for a month, they post a list-worthy topic, and their subscribers then take that topic and run with it.  For folks who love to make lists, journal, doodle, and pretend to be organized, the 30 Day List Challenge is a fun way to be creative without having to carve out a buttload of non-existent time.
