April 2: Resolutions That Never Stood A Chance

I've never been one for new year's resolutions.  Resolutions seem like the ultimate American cliche--does any other culture pretend to set some resolve for change every January 1?

Anyway, this list didn't speak to me all that much--at first. I took a minute to think more about it and make this into something that is more meaningful for me.  Anyway, while these might not be January 1 resolutions, they are ongoing resolutions that rarely seem to stand a chance with me.
